OUR STORY
In 2010, Pastor Mark was the Life Care Pastor at Thorncreek Church in Thornton, Colorado. With the encouragement and blessing from Thorncreek Church, Pastor Mark, his wife Debbi, and a small group of faithful believers stepped out in faith to start Hope Hacienda Church in the South part of Thornton. Since then HHC has reached out to the community through many events such as painting senior citizens homes, volunteering at local schools, and feeding the homeless. HHC continually strives to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the community. |

OUR AFFILIATION Hope Hacienda Church is affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene. The Church of the Nazarene is the largest denomination in the Wesleyan–holiness tradition. The doctrine that distinguishes the Church of the Nazarene and other Wesleyan denominations from most other Christian denominations is that of entire sanctification. The scripture teaches that God calls Christians to a life of holy living that is marked by an act of God, cleansing the heart and filling the individual with love for God and humankind (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24.) Like salvation, entire sanctification is an act of God’s grace, not of works. Our pursuant service to God is an act of love whereby we show our appreciation for the grace that has been extended to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ |
